Carlos Pizza

They have pizza and a lot more.

I've been there probably three different times now and the food is consistently good.  It's really the only place to eat in the mall, unless you consider pretzels a meal, though you have Chili's, Olive Garden, and MCL Cafeteria within the mall's parking lot boundaries.

I generally eat just a slice of deluxe pizza but I've also had the pepperoni bread and both were good.  I have yet to try the calzone and other items from the menu, but I wonder how they'll stand up to what I've had elsewhere in the country, especially Philadelphia.  The man running the show told me that he had quite a bit of experience in the business--something like 30 years--and it shows.  I suspect he's having more success than Sbarro ever had in this location and as much success as the pizza place that was central to the mall (Mario's, Vito's?) in the late 1970s.  I'm just hoping the mall's rent won't close this place.

To me, being able to get a slice and a drink and a seat is great.  Compare that to going to Pizza Hut or Pizza King where you order a whole pie and tip the wait staff.  They've added a television and Netflix service, which is sometimes enjoyable.

The service is sometimes inconsistent as people will be in the back of the store.  It's not that far away but they don't seem to hear people waiting for them.

Now, for the rest of the menu...I'll need several more trips.
