It's White Castle, how can you go wrong? Â I guess it's a love - hate thing, I happen to love them. Â Growing up in the Chicago area, this was always a favorite late night bite. Â A unique burger, steamed patty on a steamed bun with pickles and onions. Â I could easily eat them by the dozen! Â Don't let the gas-station set up scare you! Â It's kind of different, but this doesn't affect the taste or quality of these sweet sliders.
Review Source:This White Castle location is attached to a BP gas station and kind of hard to see/find, which really takes away from the castle-y part of the White Castle experience. The food was the same as I remember growing up with - little burgers that are mildly mysterious but yummy. Bottom line: Standard White Castle, minus the castle.
Review Source:Same White Castle comfort food as any other WC location in the country, and has a typical drive-thru window. It's also a little different than many WC's I've been to, as it's connected to a gas station, and is actually(!) clean on the inside. Not to mention one last difference, that it's very, very small on the inside.
Reason I really liked this white-colored castle, and not giving it just an average 3-star review, is that it wasn't even a stone's throw away from the Best Western(and old Hampton Inn) I've often stayed at many times in the past, and was good for a late-night bite after going to either of the 2 Richmond bars I liked(Smiley's, or Chuck's). That's all I gotta say.
