It's IHOP people, relax. The only real time to eat here is when there's nothing else open or you're so tired the quality is negligible.
I'll say this to the local place...it's better than most. I eat there when I get off work and everything else is closed. After just two or three visits, the waitress remembered my drink order and my little quirky add-ons. That was a nice touch.
I read a review about the fish...well you ordered FISH AT AN IHOP! What's next, filet at the Cracker Barrel?
The service from the waiter that I had was excellent. Very upbeat, professional and helpful. I've had the same waiter a few times that I have been there and never was our order wrong and he was always friendly. The food isn't bad but could be better. Once the pancakes seemed like they were under the heat lamp a little too long. The coffee is not the best at all and it was cold coffee. That's about all... I love the service but with bad coffee and cold food (happened only once) it's not a bad place to eat every once in a while.
Review Source:Sometimes you just need a pancake fix.
I was excited when I heard IHOP was coming to town several years back. Pancakes at all hours of the day?? Yes please!
However, this location quickly proved that their service is pretty abysmal. So, I haven't visited this location too often. One visit in particular I always tell people it was my worst dining experience ever.
The food is slightly above average, so if it comes out correctly you can bet on it being a tasty meal. But my order rarely comes out correctly, and it usually takes a really long time to get your food.
However, if you're a fan of super sweet pancakes this is your place. Most of their pancake dishes are more like desserts than anything else.
