I had an interesting experience here having nothing to do with the food. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled when I noticed their menu offering of a vegan chorizo empanada which made my ordering much easier. When it arrived, I cut into it and noticed how authentic the meat looked. I took a bite and noticed how authentic the meat tasted. Guess what? They got my order wrong and accidentally brought me a pork empanada. At the time I freaked out a little bit; I brought my plate to the waitress who very sincerely apologized and told me she would bring me the right order. My dining companion could not have thought the situation was any more hilarious.
The whole establishment probably thought I was going to sue, and the manager came up to me and asked if I was the vegetarian who ate the meat. Upon my assertion that this was the case, he told me how apologetic he was and paid for not only my meal but my friend's as well. That seemed like more than enough to make up for the inconvenience, and the vegan empanada that was actually a vegan empanada was insanely tasty. Their chips and salsa son espectaculares also!
Great empanadas and excellent drinks. I go simple and get a gin & tonic but the significant other states that the cocktails taste pretty good as well. Meal probably will end up being about $60 for two with 2/3 empanadas each and 1/2 drinks each. It's a nice place to have a light meal  or some snacks especially if you have a group and get some seating outside but I wouldn't recommend eating a full dinner here. It's hard to ask for more from this place but I really just wish they had fries. Our favorite empanadas after sampling a bunch (if not all) of them: Piggly Wiggly and Holy Frijoles.
