Love this bar, love the staff, love the owner! I'll be back every time I head up to Monterey. It's not a meat market, it's a safe place that does not put up with drunken idiots and I love the outside fire pit. It's just a fun, casual  place to get together with friends, enjoy some drinks and relax.

Love this bar I lived 2 blocks from here for a long time, came here for the first time ever for my 21st birthday party, fun memories. Sal is an awesome guy and incredibly cool to talk to, love his car! Be respectful and patient when they're busy and you wont run into problems, they don't take crap from anyone, and honestly why should they? Between this and the mucky, i don't generally need to go anywhere else. I'll always come here.

One of the best bars I've had the pleasure of visiting during my summer stay in the Monterey area.  

Wonderful local, live music.  Friendly and respectful bartenders and patrons.

Every night was memorable (for the rest of my life kind of memorable).  :)
