Casanova Ristorante

Went in there last night with my husband. We've been there a few times before, service is always fast and friendly. The bread you get before the meal is good, food served in large portions but average on flavor. Last night was the worst experience ever. They were just starting to get busy. They sat us in the very back corner, no big deal at first. Then someone came along and shoved some more tables next to us for a future party of six. Then a few other waiters came by and kept asking us about the rest of our party. We explained it was just the two of us, so eventually they figured out someone was getting ready to seat six after we were done. The next thing we know there"s another couple being sat at the other end of our enlarged table. Not really a big deal, they were nice, but we weren't even asked if that was okay. The waiter even took our salt and pepper and gave it to them instead of looking for another set. It was annoying being rushed. The waiter took my salad plate away while I was still eating it with my fork in the air. It was obvious they wanted us out of there so they could make more money off the future party of six. I've never been seated at a table then have more customers seated at the same one. I know there is such a thing as family style dining but to have a restaurant purposely do that to make more money is ridiculous. Pehaps because my husband and I are 20 years younger than the average age (senior citizen) crowd they attract,, they felt they could do this to us, but it's not right. I don't plan on going back again.

My wife and I have eaten here a handful of times and I can tell you that the food is not that great. It is ok for the price, but nothing memorable or WOW that was so good I will keep coming here because that tasted so good.

The service is probably an 8 out of 10, prompt and quick but a lot of the times it felt rushed.  

No one is rude or anything like that, it is just that nothing stands out about the quality, taste or service that I can mention.

If you are in a hurry and not looking for really tasty food then this place is good.

Great food, especially for the money.  Never a disappointment.
