Riff Raff Jazz Band

Riff Raff Jazz Band played at our wedding.  Their gypsy jazz was the perfect music for our reception.  All of our guests absolutely loved them, and kept commenting on how wonderful they were.  We were married at Cannons Seafood Grill in Dana Point, and even guests of the restaurant (not part of our wedding) came to me personally to say how much they loved the band!  All of the band members are such nice, wonderful people- the kind of folks you can entrust your wedding music to :).  Abby, who plays the upright bass, also is an amazing jeweler, and designed my and my husband's rings.  I highly recommend this band for your wedding or event.  The vintage jazz created the perfect ambiance at our wedding - and the band members are some of the nicest people we know!

Disclaimer. This is my Dad's band. However! I am absolutely not going to embellish or make them seem like they are the greatest vintage acoustic jazz band in Southern California. I don't need to. They are.
They play Gypsy Jazz style of music, including Django Reinhardt songs, some with vocals, some just instrumental.
They have played all of my friends weddings, parties and events, and they are a hard bunch to please. People that find out that it's my Dad's band always tell me how impressed they are.
They have a residency at the Gypsy Den in Santa Ana at the Artist's Village on the second Saturday of each month, and I always try to make it to see them. They also play at The Olde Ship.
If you are looking for a wedding band, they are the best, and trust me, I've been to a lot of weddings, and heard a lot of bands.

The Riff Raff jazz band is so charming and amazing to listen to! They play local venues and also perform at weddings. We have seen them a few times at both the Santa Ana Gypsy Den and PJ Abby's Restaurant (Orange, CA), but love that they agreed to play at our wedding in May 2010 at Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad, CA. Abby (the bass player) is also a fantastic jeweler (created our rings!!!) and when we learned that he played in a band that is vintage swing, we were so excited! Their music is inspired by Django Reinhardt and the likes, and was perfect for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Abby and Eric even met with us at the venue with our DJ to make sure that the setup and sound would be perfect. Check them out or have them at your event - you will be so glad they did. They will add a great vibe, and are so easy to work with.
