This restaurant is so yummy!! Â The service is impeccable - from the minute you walk in the front door, the hostess is friendly, servers are friendly, bartender Dennis is great. Â They are very attentive, as soon as your drink is getting low, they are right there to make the next. Â The martini's are delicious, appetizers of deep fried goat cheese stuffed artichoke hears drizzled with balsalmic & black mussels with saffron cream sauce were both amazing. Â Main course of apple & walnut salad with chicken was yummy as well as the seafood medley over vegetable risotto. Â Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Â Will definitely be back - maybe during happy hour martini prices since I LOVE martini's & at $12.50 a drink, I went a little broke at lunch but well worth every penny. Â Highly recommend this restaurant. Â :-)
Review Source:When asked where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner I asked to come here (Feb. 23 was actually the day before my birthday).
My mom and I had stumbled into here in December when Ruby's was too crazy. Since there were only two of us that night we were able to get in but for anything over 2, try to make reservations or be prepared to wait.
This time our visit was LOUD. We were in a different part of the restaurant and my hard-of-hearing father could barely hear my mom, sister, nor myself talking.
We also stumbled across Restaurant Week in San Juan Capistrano!!! Great $20 menu. So happy. Pasta less vegetarian lasagna rocks!
Unfortunately, they served my father and myself watered down cocktails...what the heck? I should've known not to take the martini version of their supposedly delicious pineapple-infused vodka when the server suggested twice I get it on the rocks. However, my dad got a Gin on the rocks and it was also watered down. Not a good start to the evening.
Our server was very nice and tried her best to accomodate our poor start to the evening.
I'd come back. The calamari was yummy and their chopped salad was addicting.
However, the cocktails knocked this visit down to a 3-star occassion.
