Last Sunday, we had my daughter's bridal shower brunch at L'Hirondelle, and it could not have been more perfect.  Having made reservations, our table for 12 was waiting with linen table cloths, set and ready for us.  They could not have been more kind, helpful and attentive.  We had patio warmers set for us initially to break the chill, then umbrellas raised as it got warmer.  We felt no rush to finish, and actually stayed for four hours because it was such a nice atmosphere.  The food was amazingly delicious from the appetizers, to the great variety of brunch menu items and the desserts.  A really "good deal" was to add on free flow champagne and soup or salad for just $10 more p/p.  Thanks for a great time!

We've enjoyed dinner here before, this was our first time at brunch. A good live guitarist was performing on the patio at a conversational volume (i.e., you can both hold a conversation and enjoy the music). Service excellent as always.

We love their pate maison! Even if you're a "liver hater" who normally chases any pâté with gulps of alcohol, try this one, okay? It just might convert you.

My husband inhaled their excellent sole, a special today. I had the duck salad, which is a duck confit NOT swimming in a rich sauce, and served next to a delicious salad. Regarding duck: these just might be the only chefs in Orange County who really get duck. I order it rare. It's always perfectly seared outside and tender and flavorful inside. No sauce is required to add moisture to this duck.

For dessert, we ordered creme brûlée, BUT the L'Hirondelle difference is this: extra thick and crunchy caramelized crust. Some places make theirs quite thin. We're ready to go back for dinner, but probably another day. Great brunch food + generous champagne refills = nap time!

Small and Rustic looking restaurant.  Service was ok.  Our dinner was enjoyable.  Filet Mignon was just perfect and tender and scallops were enjoyed.  Creme brule for desert was very good also.   What I personally  didn't
care for was the dill dressing on the salad....it seemed a bit harsh.  Also they do NOT have a FULL BAR.   Only wine and beer.  Someone needs to change the yelp page.   I was disappointed as I wanted a Martini........overall a four in my book.
