Dana Kai Japanese Cuisine

Excellent service! Came with the hubby and 18 month old for Valentine's day. We were staying near Huntington beach and was looking to have Shabu Shabu. Found this place on Yelp and thought we would take a drive down the coast and make a nice evening out of it. They did nothing but accommodate to everything I requested even if it wasn't on the menu.  It was worth the drive, it was just Delicious!

We are from Hollywood area and now have a place to go to when we come down again.

Finally a great sushi restaurant within reach of me from San Clemente!  Sushi in San Clemente unsuccessful so we ventured out of town to Dana Point.  Great environment, creative and diverse sushi selection including rolls and specials of the day.  Great Sake selection!   Great quality, very clean flavors!  All my special requirements for good sushi.  Most of the sushi I have in San Clemente is very watered down, poor quality and not diverse or creative selections.  I will drive here for sushi from now on!

SUPER friendly staff too!  Sumo sushi in San Clemente, she screams at you when you order!  Ha!

It's ok. Rolls are an ok size. Not too big or small.
Nice place inside.
Got yellowtail and salmon roll.
