This place is awesome! In a sea of crappy shore bar/restaurants this place definitely stands out for several reasons. The food is amazing, whether you want a fancy pasta dish, steak or an amazing brick oven pizza! The atmosphere is great with a DJ that's  not too loud and an upstairs and downstairs. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone, couples, families, whoever. Parking is safe on the street. Good just to grab a couple drinks too, they have a nice size bar!
Review Source:well i went back again and alas no change. While it is increasingly unusual, i can accept upcharging for a side salad but not to offer one at all?? Â I was further disappointed when i was told onion on my burger would be an extra 50 cents --- who does that? It is not like we were being cheap - we bought a bottle of wine and paid the $10 corkage fee along with our sandwhich orders. The focus on the customer is REALLY missing here . I want to like this place. If they just want to be a noisy (wine) bar - they probably will get by - but I thought there were higher aspirations for this place.
Review Source:Bad! So this beautiful restaurant in Brigantine, NJ provided me with the WORST service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. Upon walking up to the restaurant, I saw that were a bunch of outside tables set up along the patio calling my name. We walked to the door to find it blocked by a small group waiting for a table. They looked confused like they didn't know what to do next. I found out a few seconds later why. Although the fairly large restaurant with 2 floors was basically empty with only 2-3 tables with guests sitting, there was no hostess stand or host to help people find a table. Rather, there was a woman dressed in what I can best describe as a prom dress, behind the cashier's counter where you can buy liquor and wine. She asked us if we had reservations, we did not, and were told that it was going to take a while then to get a table. The place was EMPTY. The people behind us in like were equally frightened of the unavoidable horribleness that we knew was coming.
Then walks in prom dress number two who asks us again if we have reservations. When we informed her that we did not she looked horrified for a good 3 seconds until we asked if we could sit outside. She let out a loud sigh relief she let out as we led her to our table. But then there was another obstacle, getting around a baby carriage blocking part of the sidewalk to get to our table. The prom dress wearing hostess looked as though we had asked her to tightrope walk over the grand canyon, when all she had to do was step over a rock blocking most of the walkway. We eventually just took the menus out of her hands and sat ourselves for fear that she would never snap out of the deer in headlights look. Hopefully she did.
The food was mediorce and service continued to be EXTREMELY slow. But that was to be expected after the challenges we faced just being able to sit at a table. The food wasn't great. My salad was drenched in dressing and would otherwise be nice and refreshing on a hot summer day and my mussels were overcooked and the bread that came with it was stale. The one saving grace was the house pinot grigio, which was light, refreshing, and cool, especially for just the house special. Maybe even more so because it took so long to get it. Â
Would not recommend unless you have a reservation. Maybe the reso gets you better service and less prom dresses?
