This place is awesome! In a sea of crappy shore bar/restaurants this place definitely stands out for several reasons. The food is amazing, whether you want a fancy pasta dish, steak or an amazing brick oven pizza! The atmosphere is great with a DJ that's  not too loud and an upstairs and downstairs. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone, couples, families, whoever. Parking is safe on the street. Good just to grab a couple drinks too, they have a nice size bar!

well i went back again and alas no change. While it is increasingly unusual, i can accept upcharging for a side salad but not to offer one at all??  I was further disappointed when i was told onion on my burger would be an extra 50 cents --- who does that? It is not like we were being cheap - we bought a bottle of wine and paid the $10 corkage fee along with our sandwhich orders. The focus on the customer is REALLY missing here . I want to like this place. If they just want to be a noisy (wine) bar - they probably will get by - but I thought there were higher aspirations for this place.

Bad! So this beautiful restaurant in Brigantine, NJ provided me with the WORST service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. Upon walking up to the restaurant, I saw that were a bunch of outside tables set up along the patio calling my name. We walked to the door to find it blocked by a small group waiting for a table. They looked confused like they didn't know what to do next. I found out a few seconds later why. Although the fairly large restaurant with 2 floors was basically empty with only 2-3 tables with guests sitting, there was no hostess stand or host to help people find a table. Rather, there was a woman dressed in what I can best describe as a prom dress, behind the cashier's counter where you can buy liquor and wine. She asked us if we had reservations, we did not, and were told that it was going to take a while then to get a table. The place was EMPTY. The people behind us in like were equally frightened of the unavoidable horribleness that we knew was coming.

Then walks in prom dress number two who asks us again if we have reservations. When we informed her that we did not she looked horrified for a good 3 seconds until we asked if we could sit outside. She let out a loud sigh relief she let out as we led her to our table. But then there was another obstacle, getting around a baby carriage blocking part of the sidewalk to get to our table. The prom dress wearing hostess looked as though we had asked her to tightrope walk over the grand canyon, when all she had to do was step over a rock blocking most of the walkway. We eventually just took the menus out of her hands and sat ourselves for fear that she would never snap out of the deer in headlights look. Hopefully she did.

The food was mediorce and service continued to be EXTREMELY slow. But that was to be expected after the challenges we faced just being able to sit at a table. The food wasn't great. My salad was drenched in dressing and would otherwise be nice and refreshing on a hot summer day and my mussels were overcooked and the bread that came with it was stale. The one saving grace was the house pinot grigio, which was light, refreshing, and cool, especially for just the house special. Maybe even more so because it took so long to get it.

Would not recommend unless you have a reservation. Maybe the reso gets you better service and less prom dresses?

Menu looked interesting, but I was there for the bar... which is weird, like a bar set up in the middle of a liquor store.  The service was friendly and quick enough.

It is a mixed crowd, more than most places.  Older couples, younger people, beer drinker, wine, mixed drinks, shots.  The place was pretty sleepy when we went there (Monday night) but that is most of what I expect for Brigantine.

My aunt was excited to take us here because apparently it's newer (or was recently redone?) and has one of the nicer atmospheres compared to other restaurants in the Brigantine neighborhood (wine bottles in the wall everywhere, a nice full square bar, tvs, DJ).  The music was loud and our food took a while to come out, but our waitress was really sweet (and good! and adorable! wish i remembered her name to give her props here).  We got the salad with dried fruit, nuts and Gorgonzola (split between 2) which was delicious and had a balsam vinegar dressing, and for dinner I got the dish with the linguine and seafood (mussels, clams, shrimps) on top (you can do it in either white or red).  I chose the white and was expecting it to be super bland and so was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't (white wine, garlic, butter).  The shrimp were a very nice size (not jumbo but not dinky) and the mussels were good, the clams a little rubbery.  They've got some nice choices for wine (cheap or not) as well, which is convenient.  Various other things were ordered around the table (fried flounder, crab meat stuff flounder, another dish called something different on the menu but was the same as what i ordered) and everyone seemed content while although under enthused.  I'd recommend for a bite if you're looking for a nice ambiance in Brigantine, but don't expect anything spectacular :-)

Came here for a glass of wine with boyfriend one night on the way back to our condo. Beautiful place inside, with a huuuuge variety of wine to choose from. There's a full liquor and wine store inside the restaurant on the first floor. Wish we could have stayed for dinner, but that was the night boyfriend decided we should make homemade pizza. The disaster that ensued is too ridiculous to write about, but let's just say we would've been better off ordering from here. The food has been talked up by his parents. Next time we head down to AC so boyfriend can "earn" (and I can hit the outlet stores, obviously), we'll pop back in.

Great food, great drinks, and great service! A step up from St. G's. Kobe beef sliders are amazing, as well as the Ahi Tuna.

Am seriously do pleased that this place opened in Brigantine! After dealing with the lack of OK places to eat here on the island, was a bit uncertain that I would be ever be happy foodwise while on vacation.
Nice surprise! The food was excellent, the booze selection terrific (they have a full liquor store on premises) and the service... Wonderful, delightful, personable, Gi Gi (I know...) was one of the best severs that we'd had in a very very long time. We both have been in the industry at some point in our lives and were blown away by this sweetheart!

Nice place, decent food, poor service!  Our waiter was a joke-way to go Russell, you were a real turn-off.  Hope your conversation with the girls at the bar while we were ordering our meal was worth it- jerk!!!

This place is a diamond in the rough.  I think their opening went a little rough, but I went back after a month and it was an overall fantastic experience.  The atmosphere is pretty neat.  Stylish large bar in the middle dominates the scenery, small tables around the bar accent the idea of this place being an upscale wine bar, and thier unique attribute- shelves and racks of wine and liquor decorate the walls.  Feels like a library but instead of books- booze!  The food is amazing... if you know what to expect.  Their menu is a spin on your traditional bar or small restaurant fair.  They have gourmet pizzas and sandwiches, classic favorites with unique sauces or toppings, and some items that are flat-out phenomenal!  The service wasn't 100%, but for the price, what a gem!  For $40, my girlfriend and I shared an appetizer, each had a martini, then a sandwhich and small pizza.  If you went to this place when they first opened, you HAVE to give them another shot.  The bartender told me that they're soon opening an upstairs and implementing a full fine-dining type menu.  I hope to give it another shot very soon.  According to the locals I spoke to, this place is going to be a hot spot come summer.
