Chablis Food + Wine

No reason to glam up here, a down to earth jewel buried in strip mall hell.

Some friends and I went to Friday happy hour at 4:30pm (because we're all vying for "premature senior" status and clearly independently wealthy!) only to find a ghost town.

As I'm never really at HH to people watch, be a pick up artist, etc., this did not bother me.

They have a few varieties of wine for 5 bucks, well drinks for 5 bucks, and Fire Tire, Sam Adams and another brew for 4 dollars.

The appetizer list is significant and we ordered almost all of them. Of particular fancy:

*The bruschetta with feta (rhyme not intentional)
*The wild mushroom mac n cheese (worth the 184363636 calories)
*The Cajun fries

I always want to end these with Go. Eat. Win. So there. I did.

Chblis Food and Wine is as good as it gets.  For large parties or intimate dinners on the secluded side patio, you will not be disappointed.  We hosted a graduation party for about 40 people last month and this was the perfect venue.  Hand passed appetizers and cocktails and wine was served with the resident jazz saxaphonist playing softly in the background.  Saied prepared a fantastic buffet for us with Salmon, pasta 2 types of salad vegetables and potatoes all for a very reasonabe price per person.  They even prepared sliders and fries for the kids.  Whatever he promised he delivered.  Thank you Saied and staff for a fantastic evening.  The side patio is a plus.  It was set up with tables and candles and was perfect for relaxing on a summer evening.  I highly reccomemd Chablis for a quiet enjoyable and relaxing evening with good food and wine.  What else could you ask for.

I found Chablis on yelp earlier this year as I was searching for local restaurant in the area that served my favorite soups. At the time I was planning a wedding and all our venues were booked. A couple moths before our wedding we had a major swing of events and needed a new restaurant. I remembered the reviews I read and we immediately drove to Chablis. As soon as we walked in we knew it was perfect. We felt like we were at home with our family. We got a tour of the private room and were served a few selections off the banquet menu. Not only was the food outstanding, the price was right. It was exactly the restaurant we needed to host our wedding reception. A week or so before the wedding I provided an agenda with a few requests. I was afraid of being a bridezilla but the response I received was "thank you so much!".  The day of the wedding was so perfect!  We arrived on time and everything was set up and the team was waiting for us. The team was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. Our family (all out of towners) was extremely impressed with Chablis. It could not have been any better!!
