I haven't tried the food.  This place has 2 pool tables. $.75 to play.  Not many places in downtown Edmonds with pool tables.  Glad they have 2 at a reasonable play price.

Good place for drinks but don't go there for the food.  Me and three of my friends had the grilled cheese and Dungeness crab sandwich and we all woke up later that night sweating and having to the use the restroom.  I think they left the crab out too long.  Really love going there for pull tabs though.

Decent sized portions at a reasonable price. Really good if your craving greasy pub food.

Here's the thing about The Channel Marker, it's great.  I like the bartenders, and I can never complain about a place that has pool.  It's just the last time I was there, some dude insisted on showing a friend and me his pictures from his trip to China.  Who does that to two strangers he's just met?  By no means is this The Channel Marker's fault, it's not as if he was belligerent or anything, but that's just what I remember of the place.  That's not to say I won't return, I definitely will, especially to shoot pool and watch the game.  And apparently I have to try the food.  Upon my return, I'm sure my rating of the place will go up.

Divey!!! The Channel Marker is a nice sized bar with pool tables and darts. The beer selection isn't bad, but I wouldn't say it's good either.  They usually have Diamond Knot IPA on tap and Manny's.  I had a porter here the other day that was flat tasting and nasty.  On the weekends it's a sloshfest with the younger drinking crowd.  The staff is ok.  I would rather go to Rory's or Demetri's.

Seems like a Cool place to get a drink, bite to eat, watch some sports, etc., etc.  Now after reading some reviews I have to go back and try a steak, I already ate when I stopped by so just had a Blue Moon.   Had a few people there, all enjoying them selves.  Staff seemed friendly and helpful.  Had plenty of video games, video golf, JukeBox, A Pool Table.  Looked like a cool place to Hang out.  Shirts Available to purchase, Close to Ferry.

My new friend and I ate dinner on 11/28/2012 around 6:00 PM and it was great.  I myself work in the restaurant industry serving customers and know what to look for.  The staff was very courteous and explained the special for that night.  I was shocked at how much we received as it was 6 oz steak, baked potato and a green salad all was well prepared and delivered.  it was 13.99 for two and I double checked the waitress and she gave me a wonderful smile and said "yes that is the price".  We ate the food and had no complaint.

I told my friend that I would love to come here more often not only to eat but drink, play pool, darts and some type of golf game.  The place was pretty busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I will definitely be patronizing them as often as possible and will tell as many people I can to give it a try.

I thank them for the nice evening.

The channel marker has grown on me.

Their drinks are reasonable, and their tots are AWESOME.

But seriously, every time I come here, I order a whiskey and coke. Almost every time without fail, they ask, "so you wanted a whiskey and DIET?" Who the eff orders a diet coke with their whiskey?

NOT ME. What are you insinuating, sir? I know I've already eaten a crap ton of these delicious tots but COME ON. Rude. I don't need no aspartame rotting my brain.

I'd think this was just a misunderstanding if they didn't ask me almost every time I come in. Whatever.

Great laid back bar atmosphere by the Edmonds ferry.  The food is generally a step up from most watering holes but the consistency has been questionable.  Fast service and lots of local residents.

Fun place! It's always busy! There is a lot to entertain you there. They have darts, pool pinball, pultabs etc. Mostly classic bar food but the fish tacos are really good! It is located in the old antique mall. Great for large groups.

Trying out there Seafood Combo Plate and Bowl of Clam Chowder.  The chowder was excellent, actually better than Ivars which I think have been over rated.  As for the Seafood Combo Plate (Fish, Clams and Shrimp and Chips) wasn't as appetizing for me.  Clams were cooked perfectly but Fish and Shrimp were oily and blend.  I have been there before and had there ribs which was great but just disappointed with Fish and Chips.

Great place to meet up with friends, food is decent bar food. I just LOVE the friend chicken wings.  There are plenty of tables and tv's to watch the game, pool tables and darts for those that like that.  And the best part there is lots of free parking and this place is roomie for larger groups.   Service was super slow but there were quite a few people there for the Apple cup so maybe that's not normal.

We came here to try the fish and chips and see if we could fill the hole in our hearts (and stomachs) left by Waterfront Fish Market in Everett.  Surely, it can't be that difficult to make amazing fried fish, right?

Once again, we found the FNC to be mediocre, with seemingly unseasoned batter and very generic fries.  The beer was very good, hats off to Diamond Knot's Industrial IPA for saving the night.

It's a typical sports bar, so if you're not going for the game, the darts or the beer, there's always the pulltabs.

You know what, this place isn't so bad. Service, space and bar food is a-ok. Almost anytime I come here there is a large group of ladies celebrating a birthday. I am fairly certain that celebrating a birthday isn't how I would personally like to honor another trip around the sun, but hey - to each her own. That said, the crowd can be hit or miss. I usually come with my own crowd, throw back a few beers, shoot a little stick, eat a little grub and roll on out.

Saw the reviews and figured it would be worth a shot in trying out the place. With a comfortable environment and nice staff, I would give the place at least a 4.

The only issue I had was with the food price. I don't know if it was just my selection (French Dip), but what I got for $10 was debatable. Debatable in terms of size of the meal.

I might just be trading quantity for quality though, because without a doubt, the food was REALLY good.

I have been in Channel Markers several times with my best friends. Itwas ok, however I felt like an intruder. My friends were there last week and ordered a BLT among other things. She always orders dry bread or toast on sandwhichs for dietary purposes. It came loaded with Mayo, american cheese instead of chedder and the bacon was slimy and raw. When she complained they did nothing to re-do the sandwhich as it had been ordered, and were asked to never come back, and had to pay for the discusting slimy sandwhich! Worst customer service I have ever heard of.
It was beyond rude to regular paying customers and awesome people.

I am such a fan of channel marker, that I go quite often, they do know my name, and they know what I like to drink, and one day I will probably have my name engraved in one of the chairs near the video games..lol as well as Tony and Jerry! There is so much to do like darts, pool, pull tabs, food is fantastic, especially there specials like $2.50 taco tues...2 for 1 steak night for 13.99.. oh now we do trivia tuesday date night that starts at 6pm sharp. They use to have bands, but it would overide people watching the games etc...thou a sunday or monday night kareookee would be some added fun! but it big football game nights there too...yes it can hold a lot of people!

The onion rings are still amazing, the service however is lacking. Overall decent bar food, good ambiance and the requisite pool tables, dart board etc.  The waitresses are rather snippy when it gets busy, I have seen servers be nice when it is busy at other places and I know it's possible honey.

Good food and service!  Pretty roomy and appropriately nautical atmosphere.  I've been there at least 5 times and have not been disappointed yet.  Full bar w/ 16 draft beers from domestics to micro's.

Happy Hour Monday thru Friday 4-7, Taco tuesdays = good deals

Lots of tables and chairs to sit at.  They have approximately  3 or 4 pool tables and ton's of games like Buck Hunter and Golden Tee.  At the bar they have pull tabs and bar touch video games.

They usually have some type of food deal going on that's a good deal like Taco Tuesday.  The food is way better than average for bar food.
