Sad to see this place go, but it had declined in the last few years. Â Yes, the drinks were overpriced, but I liked them. Â They menu was much better a few years back (no idea why they stopped serving the 'sticky ribs'). Â Oddly enough, the burgers weren't very good, but I thought everything else was ok. Â One thing I didn't like was that I always seemed to get seated directly in front of whatever (usually bad) live musician they had, which made conversation impossible. Â Oh well. Â I had hoped they'd get their act together, because I love a 'beachy' kind of place. Â Too bad.
Review Source:Catching up on my yelp reviews, I remembered this gem. Â Tried them a year ago. Â What brain trauma have I unknowingly suffered that made me go along with my husbands request to try this place? Â I don't even like Jimmy Buffet. Â Just hearing him being piped through the restaurant out into the street made me crrrrringe.
So we got seated. Â In a back corner. Â Where the server clearly was allergic. Â We sat for maybe 20 minutes trying to make eye contact with anyone who ventured into our dunces corner. Â Why we waited so long, I don't know. Â When we left the hostess asked us if everything was alright. Â We replied we sat for 30 minutes without any service and she said "Aaawww. Â Sorry bout that." Â It was in the same tone as when you told your teacher you stubbed your toe, and she couldn't care less.
