We've been coming to this restaurant for years during vacations in Orlando. The menu changes, but the food, wait staff and decor are always first-rate.
On the most recent trip we had the veggie fajitas one night and the steak and chicken fajitas the next. The veggies are fresh and taste good, but they're too huge to eat as fajitas. The yellow squash and zucchini slices were over three inches long and as big around as a thumb. The steak and chicken fajitas were better in this regard.
The fresh tortillas, both flour and corn, are better than most Mexican restaurants we've tried in Florida, where good Tex-Mex is hard to find. I wish they offered whole wheat tortillas, as some Chevys locations have done in the past.
Even at busy times of day, there's not a long wait to eat here because the dining area is so large. The restaurant is part of the Crossroads shopping center.
If you have kids with you, a worker comes to the table to make them balloon animals. We gave him $1 apiece for a sword, machine gun, monkey and duck.
