My husband and I went here on 7/5/13. I would really give this place 3.5 stars. We were on a double date with some friends, and looking forward to good food. When we checked in on our iphone, we got a free appetizer of asparagus fries. I was apprehensive because I'm not a huge asparagus fan, but WOW, they were SO good! I could have eaten another order! I ordered an Orchard Manhattan and I am totally hooked on these now. I wish I could buy it everywhere! Whiskey, pear liquor, apple bitters, lemon and something else that I don't know. My second drink was the special watermelon margarita they had for the July 4th specials, but I wouldn't recommend that one. It made me feel sick. For dinner, I ordered the Honey Jack Salmon, which I like well done. It was delicious and served on a bed of Cous Cous mixed with diced veggies. 2 of our party ordered a swordfish sandwich from their specials menu, but said it was dried out. The last member of our party ordered a burger, but again it was dried out. So out of 4 meals, only mine was done like it should be. Service was pretty good, not hovering or pushy. We would probably go back if others wanted to.
Review Source:Not sure what I was looking for, I decided on Marlow's because of the reviews on Yelp. Â And yes they were quite helpful.
To begin, the rave about the asparagus fries, hands down for uniqueness and freshness. I absolutely LOVED those fries. We also had the deviled eggs, which my mother enjoyed too. Â We then had a sample of the Sweetwater Blue. The beer was great and it went very well with my Crispy Brick Chicken. Â My mother had the very popular Shrimp and Grits. All I can say is YUMMY YUMMY it was good to my TUMMY. That will be my next order for the next visit to Marlow's.
Oh, I can't forget our wonderful server Josh. Great guy and very thoughtful of my mother's request. Thanks, Josh.
So if you're ever in Orlando please check out Marlow's. The food is fresh, tasty, and unique. Â And the service, excellent.
I really enjoy this place. Â The food is delicious and they have great drink options ranging from craft and domestic beer, wine, specialty cocktails and sangria. Â If the weather is nice, I recommend sitting out on their patio as it makes for good people watching and a nice atmosphere.
I have had wonderful service every time I have gone. Â They are attentive, helpful and very personable. Â They have really great appetizers, which is all I have really gotten when I go. Â We just get a bunch for the table and split. Â The shrimp with the spicy mayo type sauce is one of my favorites, along with the asparagus fries and their flatbreads. Â We had a special flatbread which was a buffalo chicken the last time I was there and my only complaint was that there was not enough buffalo sauce on it. Â I've also tasted their shrimp and grits which is also delicious.
This is located at Pointe Orlando so it's a great place to stop before a movie at the Regal upstairs or in between some shopping.
