Stonewood Grill has many lovely attributes.
The ambiance and comfort level is excellent. Â There are large comfortable booths.
They take reservations and honor them. It is nice to walk into a very busy place and know that your table is ready and waiting.
They have an excellent happy hour - for wine drinkers. Â They may have other deals, but since I am a wine drinker, I can speak to it. Â Get there before 7pm and enjoy 2 for 1 wine - good wine! Not limited to just the house wine. Â
Love the potato chips with blue cheese. Actually this appetizer and a glass of wine, is probably all I really need or want!
I had the grilled salmon. Very simple and very good. Â Friends shared a prime rib, and based on the clean plate, it must have been good!
Food is excellent and staff is just as good. Â It's obvious this location, and every other Stonewood I've been to has good management. Â Food is consistently good although every time i order a burger it seems to come out wrong, but they are always quick to fix and usually isn'ta big deal. Â They do have some "Blue Cheese Chips" as an appetizer that are incredible, i would have never ordered but a friend of ours did and we loved them. Â The ambiance in the restaurant is awesome, very dim with bronze type highlights and glows. Â You can come casual or dressed to the 9's and fit in fine. Â Would highly recommend.
Review Source:I like Stonewood, but for some reason it's not top on my list for places to return to. Â I have been a few times for dinner and happy hour. The food has always been consistent and the service has been good.
My only feedback is that the menu isn't very unique. I don't recall being pleasantly surprised by any items on the menu. They did have a pretzel sausage appetizer at one point that I enjoyed with a glass of wine, and I did wish that their happy hour included some food specials. I have been on occasions that have included food, and have not included food. I guess it just depends on the mood of management if the happy hour will include food.
