O'Shucks Pub and Billiards

Oshucks is your run of the mill dive karaoke bar. It's a fun spot to go with your friends for drinks, pool, or shooting darts, and karaoke.  The best part about Oshucks is if you work for either Disney, Hilton, Marriott, etc... (the hospitality industry) you get half off your tab after 11 P.M.  Great place to go on a budget, but like I said its your typical hole in the wall local spot.

My bf and I were in the area visiting from out of town. Another bartender at a chain restaurant told us about this local place. Definitely a dive bar but that's exactly what we wanted. Most tables were available as most people at the bar (mostly older men by themselves). The game was on so we sat at a table.

There is another section of the bar with pool tables, darts, and other arcade like games. This bar is especially known for karaoke. It started around 10 and the people were definitely into it.

The drinks were strong and the bartenders friendly. A huge negative for me is that people are allowed to smoke inside the bar. So it got pretty smokey.

Great place to go if you want to feel at home in a very touristy area.

p.s. families and kids are welcome until midnight....although I don't know why you would have children at a bar at 11:45 :/

No anhedonia here -- we had a wonderful time at this place in the heart of the T-shirt district of Old I-Drive (next door to New Punjab Indian Restaurant).  

There were five of us: three friends, I and a total stranger, on a working man's weeknight.

Some of us (this writer not included) sang karaoke.  This writer would have to be at least three sheets to the wind to sing in front of strangers -- he can barely sing in the shower.  Still, if I could ever do such a thing, O'Shuck's just might be the place I could break out.

We had a few standard appetizers, neither good nor bad. But the attraction here is  the parade of brave karaoke singers, some good, some bad, some awful. How much better can a night out be?
