Icebar Orlando

I came here for a work event, so my review takes cost into no consideration.

The actual icebar is pretty neat. Cups made of ice make shots go down really smooth. The orange creamsicle is their thing I believe, and it is absolutely delicious, especially in those ice cups.

Would come back for a drink or two if I'm ever in town again

I'll admit upfront that my review will not necessarily be indicative of a typical night at this bar, as I attended an event that closed it off to the public for the night.

With that said...

I must say, I had a blast here. That little ice filled room made me feel like a rapper in a music video! The DJ played a good combination of top 100 hits and 80's/90's throwbacks. There was plenty of dance floor space for 50-75 people, and some seating along the perimeter for breaks/wallflowers. And, everyone on staff was HOT! It made me wonder if that was minimum requirement for anyone hired.

Why not 5 stars? Because as attractive as they were, the bartenders made their drinks light. Again, this could be skewed by the fact that it was a hosted event with an open bar. However, I was tipping, even though my drinks were free. So, you'd think by the 3rd drink, the bartender might have remembered me enough to hook a sista up! And yet, still I got no love! *shrug* Whatareyagonnado?

$20 admission (includes jacket/glove rental); $12 drinks. They offer a package deal $30 for the ice bar clothes rental and two drinks (one for the ice bar, one for the fire bar). It's a very posh bar scene. Loved all the lighting an decor. This place was empty on a Friday night of a long weekend. Drinks and service was good. It's one of those places you go once. #orlando  #icebar
