A horrible experience.
We waited 75 minutes for our dinner to arrive after placing our order, but not sure which was worse, the wait, the quality of food, or the lack of management professionalism.
When we asked the manager (Mark or Marc) why such a long wait, he came up with all the lame excuses instead of a sincere apology and claimed that they were too busy and had to pace themselves, which was not true as we watched other parties that came after us, order their food, eat and leave the establishment before we even received our order.
The manager was very rude, argumentative and offensive. One Sushi order consisted of only five pieces instead of eight that we were quoted on. Mark spent a good five minutes defending the waitress and arguing that the amount of food was correct and just cut differently.
The steaks were too chewy and tasteless and the vegetables were raw and uneatable. One stake order was sent back untouched, but others chose to eat them anyway because they were extremely hungry.
One guest ordered the NY steak and asked for extra mushroom sauce that it came with. They charged us $5 for ONE extra popcorn-size mushroom. They also charged us $1.50 for bread and $1.50 for the butter. I have never seen restaurants charge for bread and butter. What is next, charge for using the salt and pepper shakers?
The $38 steak order that was sent back untouched was supposed to be taken off our bill, but instead they gave us a $5.50 comp. We asked to talk to the manager again to inquire about the bill, at which point he became very rude.
When I told Mark that his apologies don't seem genuine and sincere, he replied by saying that he was no longer apologizing and walked away. At that point one guest almost got into a physical confrontation with the manager whose job is to keep the guest happy.
We came here for a work dinner, and I enjoyed the food (nice wine selection too). Â I would recommend the scallops (many of us ordered this entree and enjoyed it too) - yum! Â Service was really helpful at explaining the menu choices and friendly. Â I would come back here again if I were back in town.

The service was great the food... EXPENSIVE and just average. Â Very disappointed in the wine. Â Red wine was warm!!! Come on people you call yourselves a wine bar and the Zin we ordered was about 80 degrees!! Â If only the groupon had made it worth the trip.
I can't think of a single reason to go back and  I wish the waitress was working someplace with better food.
