John T's Lounge

I came here during my visit to Orlando, as it is conveniently located in the Hilton lobby.  

This would be a nice place to catch up with a friend or meet with some clients, but it does get pretty packed/loud when there is an event or convention going on.  There is a bar up front as well as tables and flat screen tv's located around the bar <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/john-ts-lounge-lake-buena-vista?select=QCYjZzCItiBB-wo92mIZkw#bxhl_NGlg3GRX-ZaWgF6MA">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a>).

I came to love this little bar during our stay at the Hilton.  Located on the first floor, we came here several times at the very end of our day just to have a night cap and late night snack. It has dim lighting which made it very comfortable and relaxing. There are several TVs on the walls so you can catch a game if you're into that. One of the nights, we watched the Oscars and indulged in a few cocktails without anyone bothering us.

The spicy chicken wings are pretty good here as well as their spinach salad. The raspberry vinaigrette is very light and doesn't overpower the dish at all. The toasted pine nuts were a nice addition to the salad - I loved the crunch.  

The service here is superb. We got the same server each night and he totally took care of us. Very friendly and kept the drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) coming. I didn't think the prices here were all that bad considering it was in a hotel. I don't mind paying extra for convenience and at least the service, food and the drinks were great. Cheers to that!
