I am now living in Seattle where we do not have a Chik Fil A or a Sonic, so I've been very impressed with the fast food renaissance in Peoria, while back in town for Thanksgiving. Â Chik Fil A has been open since the end of October, and judging by the crowd, it definitely met some unmet need in the market. Â Food wise, I would have to say that it was on par with other locations I have tried in PA, FL, and GA. Â And most of the reviews so far have been about the service, and from my experience, I think it can get spotty at times, but given the volume, I think they handle it well. Â My complaint though would be the parking lot, as it gets packed out, and the double lanes for the drive through don't help matters either. Â Other than that, I Â am very happy to see a Chick Fil A in Peoria...now only if they will open one up in Seattle too!
Review Source:The service is terrible and the person who took my order was not friendly at all and kept leaving the cash register to do other things. Â The line was long and the wait very frustrating when the the person you are waiting for to take your order keeps leaving the register. Â The management did nothing when I complained. Â I have gone to Chick-Fil-A down south and always had good food and service. Â I would skip this restaurant and wait until you are out of Peoria for Chicken.
