My food was awful. Ma po tofu dish swimming in water with uncooked vegetables. Happy family "specialty" unseasoned, unreduced, and watery.  A bad night? I hope so.  Not authentic and no attention to the food...

I see this place only has one horrible review, so let me come defend that some of the food can honestly make up for the play area of the owners.

Their restaurant is really small, and they are generally known for their carryout--so people rarely eat inside. For the owners to have a play area and their kids playing around the restaurant, I generally don't mind, because I grew up in a family business. If you really don't want to eat in a family business and be around kids, go somewhere else! Not that difficult!

For their THAI food and hospitality, they are just yummy and awesome. I always go for the Shrimp Thai Fried Rice because I love red curry in fried rice! It'll knock you off your feet every time. And their Tom Yum Soup with chicken has yummy vegetables. I have my favorite dishes, and as much as I love to try new things, why fix what's not broken? :)

As for some other dishes, they are just not my thing. So the 3 stars are for my wonderful usuals.

Pad Thai was not good. Employee's children were playing in dining area. It was like having lunch in a day care. No Thai dry spices. I hope that I don't get sick.
