The wait is finally over!! Napolese Pizza has officially opened in its gorgeous downtown location at 30 S. Meridian!  I finally get to have this wonderful artisanal pizza in a location that is a stone's throw from my place downtown.  Wonderful food and great atmosphere.Perfect for business lunch or a date. An absolute must for any pizza lover!! Really interesting selections of artisanal pizza creations, and you also have the option of selecting your own toppings as well. I went with The Margherita, with the addition of sausage. We walked in without a reservation, but I am thinking this place will get really crowded on a Friday or Saturday night. A beautiful bar on one side and the magic happens on the other with the pizza oven, where you can also sit and watch them make the pizzas. This is not a very big space but at the same time, you are not on top of other tables like some places. Local beers on tap, including Sun King, Triton, and Flat 12.  They had a great cocktail list and reasonable wines, by the glass, quartino, and bottle.  I went with a Chianti.  Perfect with pizza!! Although we didn't order one,I noticed they had AMAZING looking salads, we had bruschetta before our pizza, but next time, I will definately have to try a salad.  The waitress we had was great and very attentive. The meal was well paced and never ever felt rushed.  I also noticed there are a couple of children's options on the menu too! Great for me to keep in mind when my nephews come for a visit.  Really happy to have this place nearby.  Great new addition to downtown, and very affordable.
