Maxine's Chicken & Waffles

Great food at this place. I got the chicken and sweet potato waffle and it was very good. My waitress was very nice and took care of me even tho it was quite busy in there. Bill came to about 15 for meal and drink. Overall I was satisfied and will come back when I am in town again. I would suggest you bring a date tho I went alone and was a little out of place. I even joked with the waitress about the fact.

I've heard so much about this place and finally decided to go for the first time.  Went here on a Saturday morning and it was very busy.  The food was above average, but nothing to rave about.  The service was mediocre, which I believe was attributed to the very few servers taking care of too many tables.  Overall, it is not a bad place to go, but not so impressive that I will be coming back.

Must go in Indianapolis, amazing waffles and chicken. And oh my god....the peach butter....
