Yes, Yes, I am the duchess :) And I plan on holding on to that title because I cannot get enough of their Vietnamese Chicken Wraps! The flavor in this thing is amazing and so unique. They have made a few changes to the wrap since the new year and are now using rice noodles and it's just that much better! I work out extra hard Saturday mornings at the bike hub just so i can walk over to Circle City Soups and get this wonderful treat!!
Review Source:I picked up a cup of soup and a small salad for lunch today and had to write about it. Â The Mushroom and Brie soup made my day. Â It was creamy and buttery (as brie should be) and was balanced by just the perfect amount of mushroom flavor. Â It wasn't too "earthy," but mild and delicious. Â I am trying to figure out when they serve this next so I can be first in line.
If my review was just for the soup, it would have been five stars. Â However, the salad I had was good, but not life-changing. Â They used a green mixture that contained actual greens (which was appreciated), but the dressing was only okay.
Still, I will be back to try more soup flavors after reading the reviews here. Â I felt that the price was fair and the quality was high.
Update: They've changed the way they make the Vietnamese noodle wrap, and I didn't realize it until I got back to the office. The orange tortilla is now a regular flour tortilla, the field greens have been replaced with lighter lettuce, chives have been added, and the noodles have been changed to rice noodles. The sauce also tastes different but I'm not sure in what way. Overall, I'm disappointed. I liked the way it was and the new version doesn't live up to the original.
Edit: Just found a random jalapeno in it. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be in there or not; there was only one in the whole thing.
