Slippery Noodle Inn

Out of towner.. read reviews on yelp and stopped in. Great space, good local " my bar" feel. Had good priced drinks plus specials daily. Basic bar food not that great fried pickles and nachos.

We we told that this place was awesome.  Food is just bar food.  Nothing real special.  Live blues every might.  Decent music, average food.  I guess my expectations were set too high.

the noodle is a huge bar with multiple sections.  though centered around the live blues music, different sections can have different atmospheres.  the best is the front bar, the worst is the atrium.  the back room and balcony however are the best to relax & listen to the music.

though each bar area is comfortable, the front bar is the most classic.  with a classic wooden bar, tin ceiling tiles, a bar back with woodwork & mirrors, you can visualize the history of the noodle.  the front music room & game room are only good for getting from the front bar to the back room.  the atrium is dry & boring.

front bar is usually the busiest, with ages ranging from 20's to 60's.  very loud with blues music of course.  on the weekends, a fun place to hit while your friends are in town, but otherwise there are better, cheaper places to relax & grab a beer without having to scream at your friends 12 inches away.  weeknights are more subdued and fun.  always a great place to go if in the mood for blues.
