I have never had a crepe here that wasn't delicious. So far I've tried the Harvest, Buffalo, and Pic Nic, plus a sweet one that was a special (based on a s'more). Yum!
The best way to enjoy a crepe here is to split a half-and-half with someone else, or get one that's half savory and half sweet.
I love you guys for this treasure you have bestowed upon us. Crepes are so versatile and classy. On my many visits to Japan, a crepe of extremely high quality is a first on my to do list. The Japanese rip things off from the French very well and I do mean that as a compliment!
I digress. Other than the bit-too-dark outside of the crepe and the tendency for the innards to settle in the bottom with a bunch of bread to work through to get to the juicy stuff, these are heavenly.
Sweet and savory. At both ends of the spectrum, every choice is the right choice. Highlights, for me, are the banana nutella, strawberry jam/cream cheese/chocolate and the red eggs and bacon with spinach.
I hope they plan to get their own building soon, or a store front, for expanded hours. Hard to make it to the City Market or Broad Ripple Farmer's Market when I need crepes stuffed into my yap.
I really enjoyed 3 Days in Paris. Â Although they had a yummy looking selection of dessert crepes I went to the savory side and tried out their Black and Blue moon crepe. Â This crepe is what it sounds like with beef and blue cheese but had a nice surprise of dried cranberries and a roasted raspberry chipotle sauce that just kicked it up a notch with some of the acidity from the berries cutting through all the cheese. Â I throughout enjoyed my crepe and will be back to try out more favors in the future.
