King David Dogs

I must say, not that impressed.  The dogs are certainly big, but it was a bit overcooked and the ones that were in the warmer were old and wrinkly.  I come from Chicago where portillos rules and this is not even close to portillos.  As mentioned they make a decent dog, but I wouldnt make a side trip for it.

Tater tots. You love 'em and they've got 'em. And they're good. You didn't come here to get the latest disposable foodgasm trend. You want a filling dog, a side, and a soda. You'll get plenty of that here.

If I'm not going for fancy I expect value and this is it. Your drink comes in a collectible plastic cup with crushed ice. Plenty of seating and usually good people watching.

It's a great way to turn around a lousy morning at work. Get yourself some satisfying comfort food and your day is turned around. You may feel a little sleepy around 3pm, however.

The one negative thing you can say about King David Dogs is that they aren't open enough.  I'd love to be able to stop by in the evening or on the weekends.

Now, when it comes to the important stuff, otherwise known as the food, you are going to quite simply get an excellent hot dog and side of fries when you come on by.  

King David offers your basic hot dog, along with a variety of gourmet version to choose from.  They have every type of hot dog to fit your mood.

Also, make sure to get a cookie for desert.  They are not to be missed!
