Nice quaint jazz club. Get a table by the window if you want some privacy and its quieter. We had the 3 course meal special. Just enough food for us. If you have a big appetite this may not be enough food for you . It include some olive poppers with a pepperoni mayo sauce, then a grilled salmon on a mixed green veggie, finished with a Mexican Hot Cocolate bread pudding topped with marshmallow cream and chocolate drizzle . With two glasses of wine and tip we were under a $100 for 2.

As Heather H. said, I was here for a birthday dinner and had a special Vegan dinner made for us.

The atmosphere was pretty fancy. It will be a nice place for fancy date night. When we were there, they had live entertainment. The music was at a nice volume so that you can enjoy it, but still have a conversation with others at your table.

The food was also excellent. Granted, we had a meal specially made for us, but considering the food we had isn't something that is made all the time, I can only image the regular food is also excellent.

Pro tip: the bathrooms are downstairs. Looks for a spiral staircase.

I absolutely love this place! My first visit to Chef Joseph's was for a work event. John and Chef were so amazing and went above and beyond to make the event special. The food was fantastic, particularly the flat bread. Oh, and the meatballs. Seriously, so good.

Since the event, we have been there several times. It's almost like we enjoy showing off our new find! The menu changes, and there are times when I'm not as drawn to the menu as others. But normally there is something I can't wait to try. I absolutely love the Tuscan Eggplant Ravioli (I'm a sucker for eggplant), and there is a hamburger my husband loves - it's called sushi burger, and it might have wasabi sauce. I can't remember exactly what it's called, or what's on it (it doesn't actually have sushi on it!) but it was amazing. The sweet potato fries are a must. And if you're feeling adventurous, the alligator tail is very good too.

If you enjoy wine, this is a great place to try. There are many different wines to choose from, and several wines I don't see in any other restaurant in the city.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is business casual, but they like to have fun. Not stuffy at all. You get great food, great service, great wine, without the stuffy better-than-thou attitude found in other restaurants. I highly suggest giving Chef Joseph's a try.
