We had some friends in town and we noticed this place had opened up a couple months ago so we thought it'd be a great way to check it out.  We walked over from the canal and it has a nice little corner patio, but first we had to find it.  We walked in the hotel lobby entrance and followed the several signs that told us to see the hostess at Osterio Pronto for seating at the Tavern, but they were all very confused as to why we were asking about Tavern at Osterio. Anyway they told us to walk through the entire restaurant to get outside.  It does have a very FL or caribbean vacation atmosphere with a tiki type bar and patio furniture and a fire pit---very cool! We were there for dinner, but it's more of a snack or lunch place if you're gonna eat there.  Portions are pretty small and the menu was limited.  I had the Kabobs, cooked on the outdoor grill next to us, which were good, not awesome, but it didn't come with any sides or anything. Pizzas and sandwiches were ok. I think this would be a fun place for drinks and apps to share with friends around the fire pit.

I work downtown (a few blocks away), so a couple of coworkers and I decided to go here for lunch one day.   As we walked around the corner and looked for a seat, I immediately felt like I was on vacation.  Then, I felt guilty to have an instant craving for a frozen umbrella drink.  The ambiance reminds of a nice resort in FL, CA or AZ, yet it is right here in Indy.

Our lunch was a very quiet, relaxing and pleasant experience.  Even though it was a warm and sunny day, we had adequate shade.  The service was great.  Lunch was grilled right near our table outside, which was really cool.  We loved our bacon cheeseburger and chicken skewer choices.  

It is a little pricey for an everyday lunch location.....very similar to your Weber Grill, Capitol Grille, Harry & Izzy prices, but very worth a "once in a while" visit!.
