Oops, I wrote this on my cell and forgot to post it from my laptop. Hope the mobile app has improved since this summer when this was originally written!

Being Korean, I know a thing or two about the food. I was excited to spot Seoul Grill at the First Friday Food Truck event on a past weekend at Old National Centre. Initially I passed it up since I had Korean food the other day but my bf questioned how could I not try Korean food (since well...I'm Korean). Needless to say, I was a bit skeptical seeing American girls making the food but still wanted to give it a chance. As I eagerly awaited my first food truck meal, my excitement quickly left after seeing my meager portion of bulgogi (korean style bbq beef). I was still hopeful though. Maybe it's so delicious I'll only need a little to satisfy me?? Ah, my optimism went unrewarded. Dry, tough, and bland. Now Korean bbq isn't anything like the American version but none of those words describe what good bulgogi is. It was served with white rice and side of kimchi and radish (neither tasted fresh), and I can honestly say the rice was the best thing on my plate which isn't hard to mess up when you're using electric rice cookers. And it was overpriced ($8) given the portion. Hopefully, they'll improve their recipe and quality or they may have some competition when I start dishing out my food from my little sedan. Complete fail.

Had some eats from this amazing truck while at GenCon 2012. It was some of the best food I had while in Indy. The Korrito was absolutely delicious and I wish that I had the foresight to have ordered another since it was so good and could have definitely put away another.

My only issue was the wait. It took nearly 30 minutes to get my food. But it was worth it.

    I hope they're at GenCon in 2013!

I love authentic korean food, so was extremely excited to drive by and see Seoul Grill KOREAN truck. I was a little disappointed to see non Asian people in the food truck cooking my Korean pod. A whole potato on a stick...? Not so Korean. Apparently it is half Mexican half Korean? The kim chi is not bad, and everything tasted decent. Just did not satisfy any Korean craving and with the words Seoul, grill, Korean, and BBQ I was expecting so much more!  If you want a bunch of Asian ingredients mixed together you will love this place.
