This is a well organized store. Everything was bright and the staff was helpful.
Things to point out is that everything isn't very well labeled/priced. I looked all over the shelves to see how much a big cup of fruit cost, but I couldn't find it.
Also, the sandwiches are tiny! They didn't have the bread for my sandwich available, so I had to substitute for something else. Okay, fine, but all the slices of bread were all tiny! I could finish it in 4 bites.
The best soup in town! Im vegetarian and usually 3 out of six soups are vegan or vegetarian. The soups are self serve and they have small sample cups so you can sample a taste before buying. I love the coconut curry soup. In the fall they have a couple different pumpkin soups which are unbelievably tasty! You can buy a small medium or large cup..or even a bread bowl. There are also several different breadsticks to choose from for dipping..that kinda has taste and flavors of bagels.
I have also tried the tuna salad which was very good. And black bean mini burgers also very delicious. Theyre very accommodating about modifying the toppings or dressings as well. They have premade sandwiches and salads in a cooler along with yogurt parfaits and drinks. A large selection of cookies and pastries to choose from..along with excellent coffee and tea.
It is a large chain and they seem to have a high turnover rate with employees but its worth it for the soup. In the summer they have couches to lounge on and eat outside...very good people watching.
I usually come here to have a quick soup for lunch and even then it gets a little costly when you figure that a large bowl of soup (which really isn't all that large) comes close to 6 dollars after tax. The soup is definitely decent, but the portion/price ratio isn't. Everything else seems a bit costly as well.
