Let me start the 1st time I ate at Ruth's Chris was 2004 and I should have kept it that way. Now 9 years after I was disappointed. When you go to a "upscale steakhouse" and order your steak medium it's a fair assumption that you will not receive a medium rare steak. The waiter was not on his game, the Manager was making excuses and my dinner experience was not good. I guess this place is just not for me.
Review Source:Very disappointing with service and food well below expectations.  Being an experienced traveler visiting 5 star hotels and restaurants around the world my expectations were high and confident my 25th anniversary would be incredible at the prestigious Ruth Chris.  Yelp it was bad and for the price EXTREMELY bad.   My wife, child, and I ordered a filet, strip, and a  ribeye with mushrooms, salads, two sides - au gratin potatoes and asparagus, and a bottle of Don Perignon - yelp $500+ dinner.  The interesting concept is multiple servers to present redundant information and then confuse the patron with no accountability.  The specials were described twice and the wait staff lost...finally ordered and the food delivered by yet more staff.  The frequency and timing of service attending the table was way off even with too many staff members - too frequent saying the same thing then absent.  Well the mushrooms were cold and my daughters filet cold....so escalation occurred and some mgr acted like he cared and took my entire plate ...gone...and of course a new person returned with the plate and wallah now the mushrooms were hot and to make matters worse the steak overcooked - gad - a $50+ dollar steak now prepared as a hamburger cooked well. They must have just put the whole plate back in the oven given the time it took....do you send it back again ?....no just eat.  Well of course now the time has passed the flavorless potatoes were cold as well as the asparagus....of course no mgr seen again or a request for feedback on the experience!!!  I could have provided valuable customer feedback for improvement to maybe help the next customer experience. Oh well so much for the bubble burst and severe let down...I will certainly consider this experience in future celebrations and choose wisely.

Ruth's Chris is always a consistently great choice. Â Their steaks are top quality and the atmosphere is friendly. Â The starter harvest salad was great, My ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the broccoli au gratin was also pretty tasty. Â I ate at the bar tonight and they had a very skilled piano player and sweet friendly bartender (Renee). Â Everything was good the only reason I don't give a five is I reserve those for something truly outstanding and unique. Â This place is fantastic but doesn't quote have that.
