Like other reviewers have stated, service here is spotty. Â We stopped in for a beer and sat at the bar looking to get a late night dinner. Â There were dirty plates of still on the bar and the bartenders seemed to completely ignore us as we waited for service. Â Finally we decided to get up an leave and head over to another restaurant down the road. Â It would have been nice to have a least been acknowledged and told that we were going to get service.
It did look like a nice restaurant inside with lots of seating and tvs for watching sports. Â Lots of restaurants in this area too. Â Hope you have better luck there than we did.
I just returned from a team lunch at Scotty's Brewhouse. A group of eight of us arrived at 11:30 and were seated promptly.
Service was very attentive and thorough although I thought that the food took a tad long to arrive.
I had the "Mo'Fo Buffalo Chicken Wrap", which was very tasty (and spicy), along with perfectly prepared tater tots. My coworkers all had a variety of different sandwiches and everyone enjoyed what they had.
IMO, the best thing about Scotty's was the atmosphere, which has an upscale sports bar feel. I could easily see myself spending an entire afternoon there watching football or NCAA basketball tournament action (now there's an idea, now that March is almost here). A very warm, inviting atmosphere with a good number of TVs.
Today was my first trip to Scotty's, but I hope to be back before too long.
Positives- Nice gluten-free menu options as well as some better-than-average pub food selections. Nice local beer selection as well.
Negatives- I have been here a few times with friends and I don't think I'll go back. Not because of the food or the service but because everything takes so long. I've never left this place, in and out, in under 4 hours. Takes FOREVER to get seated and even longer to get food. I value my time too much to give this place another shot. I think they must tell everyone that walks in the wait is about 40 minutes.
