Tip: Duos Indy truck is by Wishard Hospital on Tuesdays :) . I discovered this treat unwittingly when I was walking to get lunch from another place. I'm so glad the truck appeared out of nowhere as if dropped down from heaven! Â I had the quinoa salad which was really healthy and satisfying-- full of pineapple chunks and had some arugula leaves that made it beautifully delicious. I will definitely mark this special event down on my Tuesdays.
Review Source:Say what!? I haven't written a review for Duos yet? Silly me. You know those restaurants that are so dependable that you could close your eyes, point to a given section of the menu and pick a winner? (because they're all winners) This is the case with Duos. Whether I take a gander at their daily menu or not - I know I'm in for a treat when I step up to Becky Hostetter's window.
I've often struggled with understanding how one could choose to be vegan - I suppose its my steadfast love affair with queso that has made it extra-difficult. A few of my favorite selections have included the Banh Mi sandwich, tofu bbq (the best of carnivores wouldn't have been able to tell the difference) and recently, the apricot bar for dessert.
Always a treat when I stumble upon the smiling faces and brilliant concoctions to be found at Duos food mobile.
If you are looking at the Duos Indy yelp page, you probably already know that the food is going to be amazing.
The real reason you should check out Duos? Chef Becky. Â She is honestly the sweetest and most caring chef I have ever met - especially one who spends much of her day hanging out in a truck! Â
I love the breakfast stew that she brings to the Indy Winter Farmer's Market - mmmmmmm. It's filling and super flavorful, while still being healthy and natural. That's the type of cooking that Becky does best! Â
Is it expensive? arguably, yes. Duos uses the best ingredients and has high quality stuff, so it's going to cost more than a run-of-the-mill food truck that just churns out generic sandwiches.
