Bru Burger Bar

I can't imagine, nor have I ever been to, a better burger joint anywhere.  GREAT craft beers (lots of them), nice ambiance, clean, friendly and attentive hostess and wait staff (typical friendly Indiana hospitality), and hot damn, are these some good burgers.  In case you're wondering, the price is right.  I think they are about 10 bucks for any of their specialty burgers, all of which come with fresh-cut fries, .

I can't wait to go back there with my wife and kids and try more of what they have to offer.  I am a fan of this place.  Let me know when you want to open a franchise in Cincinnati, I'm all in as an investor.

PS They make their own ketchup.  A little on the sweet side, but you have to like their style.  How many burger joints do that?  I also had a salad that was way beyond decent and they have 4 or 5 salads that look amazing (and they are big).

I know I'm just one more of the 126 reviews about this place, so I'll make it short.  After eating there twice, I thought I needed to give it some stars.  Both times the burgers, OR, and the wonderful salad w/gorganzola & cranberries were great.  Our waiter was very attentive and even asked the kitchen a question for me about the preparation of something.  The place is always crowded but the Ave is a great place to kill time while waiting for your text!

It serves burgers. It has a bar. And, everything including the ketchup is made in-house!

I had the Burbon Burger and my friend had the Garlic Three Cheese Burger.

The Burbon Burger, while it has a horseradish infused cheese the horseradish was not overwhelming... just enough to let you know it was there. Honestly, the overall flavor of my burger left me wanting just a bit more punch. Overall, the burger was cooked exactly how I expected and not dry at all. The fries were okay. I was expecting a thicker fry, but the ketchup made up for that.

The garlic on her burger wasn't too overwhelming. But I generally didn't like the taste of hers, but that's okay!

Next time I will probably do a normal American cheeseburger w/ bacon... just for comparison!

The service was great. Don't let the line fool you. Put your name in and then go stroll along Mass Ave. They will text you when your table is ready, quite like Scotty's.
