I like sports, but I dislike sports bars.  I stumbled upon Front Page Sports Bar and Grill by accident and with quite an appetite.  I was not pleased about having to eat there, bu was too impatient to wait an hour at other restaurants on Massachusetts Avenue.  When I entered, I imagined to find a bunch of idiots, arguing to the death about an irrelevant sporting event and drinking Miller Lite.  However, when I walked through the door, I was surprised to find intelligent looking folks, just having good conversation and enjoying some games.  The beer selection was excellent, and I was surprised to find Bells Two Hearted Ale.  The menu was small for a restaurant, but substantial for a sports bar.  I had the grilled blackened pork tenderloin, a side salad, and fries.  The portion was more than acceptable and the taste was above average.  The prices were fair, and the service was satisfactory.  I won't be rushing back, but should I return, it will not be with dread.

I was at Front Page on a Tuesday evening for a Butler game. The restaurant was relevantly empty with the exception of a few people at the bar and one large party at the front.

Myself and one other person sat at the bar and ordered a beer, which came promptly from our super nice waitress. Both of us decided to order some food and we each got some type of veggie sandwich, which you wouldn't expect to take an hour to make.... but it did.

When it finally came out, the waitress apologized profusely and even took off some of the cost from our bill. And the sandwich was actually pretty decent, despite the absurd wait time.

I would probably go back to Front Page to drink, as they seem to have some good drink specials, although next time I'll probably pass on the food.

The atmosphere is very casual and laid-back. Great place to watch a game.

Food is pretty good, not the busiest place. The summer draws a crowd for the deck tho. The service is really friendly. Stumbled in late a few night for some MNF games....they never said it was too late to eat! Really appreciated that.
