Now with more room... less smoke from the grills and modern furniture! Yes folks Fujiyama has been through an extensive makeover with a sleek, yet modern look... as if they chose the best feng shui furniture from IKEA.
No more bridge to cross, no more gigantic open space with little to no seating. It's all new and fresh. Oh... and the food is still great! Love the sushi.
My mom and I play a game where whoever has to use the bathroom first has to pay the bill...if you know what I mean. Don't let that stop you though because their food is GREAT and well worth the horrible flatulence that comes with it. (Am I allowed to say that? Oh well. It might just be our bodies it affects.)
Having lived in Beech Grove my entire life, I know what's good around here. This is one of the few places that someone might decide to take a trip to good ol' Beech Grove for.
It is expensive, but it's also an experience. You're having a homemade meal cooked in front of you, awesome! The chefs are good-humored and have amazing knife skills. My brother had his first experience there and he was in awe. From the shrimp in the hat trick to the onion volcano, it's great for kids.
They recently renovated the place and removed the Koi pond/bridge *tear* but the modern feel it has is also very cool.
My favorite meal is the Shogun Dinner with steak and chicken!
