Another typical Virginia Chinese buffet with nothing in particular to either cheer or complain about. Â The dishes on the buffet are pretty standard- nothing innovative or surprising. Â The ambiance is also typical but comfortable. Â There is also a menu to order from, but they don't immediately offer you one- apparently they prefer you order the buffet. Â At $8.49 for the dinner buffet, plus drinks, it seemed a little pricey to me. Â The lunch buffet was $5.69- more like it.
But, the food was hot and tasty and good by local standards. ( It ain't San Francisco, folks.) Â Service was OK but the waitress hovered when she presented the check while I filled out the "tip" section. Â And, she was a little slow to remove the dirty dishes between trips to the buffet.
I suppose we'll be back, but we'll order from the menu next time to see how they do. Â The location is convenient, in the same center as Wal-Mart.
