I don't like it here too much. I never have. In my experience the barstaff has been standoffish and I believe they used to be cash only, not sure if that has changed or not. I came here a few times to see bands of people I know. There's just so many better places downtown, this one would be last on my list. They would benefit from having some sort of unique hook to get people in there besides live music. Maybe more advertisement for things like early bird trivia (like 6:00-9:00 for working folk) just an idea, but it's just not my kind of place I guess.
Review Source:This place is awful!
They use the same glass for your drinks all night and don't even wash them out in between drinks. Â They ran out of real glass glasses in about 2 hours and used plastic cups for the rest of the night. Â And there were only about 40 people in the bar! Â
There is virtually no seating so if you aren't lucky enough to get a seat at the bar or at the 4 tables they have, then you stand up all night to listen to the band.  And the people standing  just stand right in front of you so you can't even see the band.
A drunk guy came in and they served him. Â He fell asleep at the table so they called the police to remove him. Â The police let him finish his beer before taking him out. Â What???
I feel I need to update my review as things have changed quite a bit since my last one.
You can still see pretty decent bands here but it seems that the better bands play on Thursdays and open mike night on Tuesdays is probably the best night to hang here.
The upstairs (it still doesn't have a name) is used primarily for DJs on the weekends which attract a kinda douche-y crowd drinking cheap drinks and tipping badly.
They did update the big screen TV which is great if you can't get a bar seat for the Games.
All in all it's probably the best live venue in downtown Haverhill but that's mostly due to there being a lack of competition.
