I love Classic Billiards. I have been coming to this pool hall for nearly 15 years and is where I learned to love the game. I have seen several owners come and go, and was sad to learn it closed last year. They have reopened and the New Owner Jim seems like a good guy. I came in the weekend before Christmas and the place was almost full. Jim set us up with a great table, and made sure we were comfortable. Classic has around 20 tables, all resurfaced. Half of the room is set up with Brunswick tables for the casual players, including black light tables. The second half has upscale Brunswick gold crown tables geared to the "member/regular/more serious" pool players. Â I was happy to see familiar faces, some that would not come over the last few years due to the old ownership. I would recommend Classic to everyone from the casual group of friends looking to shoot some pool and hang out, to the more serious players who are looking for a great pool room in the area. From experience, it is the best pool room anywhere close to the area.
Review Source:I went to Classic Billiards opening night. I played for over 2 hours on one of the newly-recovered tables. The rates were the least expensive I've seen in the area and the daily specials looked like a good deal. The room was beautiful. They even have some really cool black light tables which I had never played on before. The owner is friendly and was willing to help with a tip, when asked. Â I will definitely be back again and would happily bring my 11 year old daughter.
