Pizza is not bad but nothing special or that I would crave. Â The veggie toppings were fresh but the cheese was a little skimpy and there was very little sauce. There are too many pizza places in Carmel/Westfield/Noblesville so if it isn't special I won't return.
I had a Groupon but I should have saved my money: the Sunday special was a better deal than I got using my Groupon, and if you use a Groupon you  have to pay full price.  I paid $10 for my Groupon, so I would have been ahead to skip buying the Groupon and then I would have received the special.
I constantly see coupons and specials for Cool River Pizza, in all the discount magazines and coupon sections we receive in the mail plus Groupon, Living Social, Local Deals, and all the others.
They only applied $18.35 of my $20 Groupon to the pizza price anyway. I use Groupons frequently and other restaurants give the entire credit.
We had a Groupon and even at that it was not worth it...Pizza is good but just good. Â Think Chuckee Cheese with a little tiny bar right in the middle of it..kids running around out of control and LOUD...we had our two grandkids 5 and 10 and even they couldn't believe ALL the kids running around and how loud it was...seemed very unorganized and out of control too ... too many other great pizza places to go!
Review Source:First the pizza, well executed but ingredients were just average and could have been cooked a little more. It took 29 min. for our pizza to arrive.
Very loud and filled with children, if your looking for a quiet dinner on a Friday night, good luck.
Without a coupon it would have been over 30$ for 2 with soft drinks.
Conclusion is with coupon ok but won't go again without one and maybe even not then.
Tried this for the first time the other day and it was delicious. We had a coupon so we ordered a pizza to go. The waitress was really patient and friendly as this was our first time. You can order as many toppings as you want all for the same price, we asked if we could do half and half and she said ya no problem.
As we waited for our pizza we decided to play a couple of their board games they have readily available. It was a lot of fun and before you knew our pizza was ready. It smelled so good and it was piping hot, so I could not help myself and grabbed a piece, it was so tasty. Bazbeaux is still my favorite, but this was a close second, also hear the apps our also very good.
I don't understand why a few reviewers were saying this was great pizza. Obviously, they haven't tasted too many other than the big box outlets. This was a pretty average pizza, maybe slightly better than Pizza Hut or the like, but far from memorable. It was simply OK. Nothing I'm going to remember. I went there to try it because I had a Groupon for it, but I know I definitely don't want to pay full price for one. Â You are a lot better off with Hot Box, or even Costco or Sams if you have one nearby.
Review Source:I ordered a cooked pizza that was very good. Â I ordered the same pizza as a take and bake the next time. Â It took 20 minutes to make the take and bake pizza. Â No excuse for it taking that long. Â I heated it per the instructions and the pizza was not very good. Â If you go here, do not get the take and bake pizza, get it cooked there.
Review Source:Pizza is pretty good but nothing you would remember in a few days.
What's special about this place are the toys, games, and environment that makes it a perfect place to bring your kids, eat some good food, and have them run around like animals and have someone else clean up the mess.
Great place for families with kids.
Cool ranch chicken pizza and a side of their garlic cheesy bread. Â So bad for you and yet so good. Â We have always ordered take out and although time limited interactions, we have always had very nice people behind the counter. Â We tried their BBQ pizza and regular garlic bread once and it didn't come close to their cool ranch pizza and cheesy bread. Â We won't veer again. Â It is the perfect meal.
Review Source:Pizza is great and the crust is delicious. Â Other than that, the place is a wreck.
Last 2 times the salads were very poor quality. First time in the salad had 2 rubber bands in it (manager never visited our table) and on the next visit they told us that they upgraded the salad to mixed greens and fresh veggies--We got a plate full of oldish romaine and some tomatoes. Â They gave us a proper salad after taking it back to the counter.
Tonight made an order of nacho cheese to dip the crust and they sent it to our table cold. Â They zapped it in the microwave for us--joy.
I think that their problem is that it is manned by a staff of vapid teenage girls who are too wrapped up in texting/talking to have any quality control.
We will be back because of the pizza and the kids love it, but will go in knowing what we are in for.
This pizza place has been around for a couple years. Â The first time we went when it first opened, we were really disappointed. Â It was bland and easy to forget. That was a couple years ago.
We went this past weekend and were blown away! Â The crust is amazing! Â I don't remember the name of pizza we got, but it was ground beef, bacon, onion, and cheddar cheese on top. Â Very good! Â
We also got their bread-sticks and they were fantastic! Â
I am really surprised how much they have changed. Â
The only thing i don't like about the place is that you order at the counter then go find a seat.  That's not bad except they seem to have not much seating so I could see how it would easily be full and you would be stuck without a table.  Granted, we didn't have this  issue, so I can't really say if it is a problem.
