Cooper Street

I love this place for their tuna tacos.  During happy hours these guys are $2 each.  Fresh tuna, hard shell, avocado, cilantro and lime juice make this a find.  From the looks of the place you wouldn't expect to find fresh tuna tacos like thi-s but that's what makes the experience better.  They also have Big Buck Safari online version and cheap beer during happy hour.

If only I could give zero stars... We arrived at Cooper Street fresh off the mountain pass roads and starving. We were sat right away, and I squeezed my way between the tightly placed chairs and tables in order to get to our spot.

Once seated, however, I believe we turned invisible.

I watched as other groups came in, were sat and waited on. Immediately. No sooner did a family of four sit down than they were asked what they wanted to drink. Same with another family of six. And another couple. We had yet to get waters from the host, let alone have our bleach blond bimbo waitress come by and take our drink order.

We left, which didn't seem to be much of a loss. Their chili, from what I could see and smell, was comparable to canned cat food. Their burgers looked overcooked and the chicken fingers looked dry. That basically is their entire menu, so it didn't leave many options anyway.

The place was loud--probably decent enough for a drink later on but way too drunky-drunk and fratty for lunchtime.

If you're looking for textbook bad service, check this place out. Otherwise, avoid. We picked up and headed over to Little Annie's, which was all of maybe a buck or two more expensive and really delicious.
