Zane's Tavern

Solid  bar food at one of the last remaining dive bars in Aspen. It's a local's hangout and thus has a decently priced menu and a good vibe. The wings are especially delish!

Having been here just once so far I can't really offer anything authoritative by way of feedback. That said, I think the place is fantastic! Very relaxed, low-key, and friendly with good service and a charming, unpretentious atmosphere. Zane's is by mo means a trendy, snooty, stereotypically "Aspen" bar. Which is a very good thing! If you're looking for any sort of 'nightlife' in Snowmass, this is where to come. It seems to be the only place with any sort of crowd after 8 pm. Also, if you're wanting to watch some sort of sports, this would be the place. We came here a couple of times on my last trip to Snowmass....one time to watch the Gophers NCAA game. They were the only place showing multiple games. And we also came once since we were looking for some drinks after 8 pm.

I've only eaten the wings here and they were delicious. Added bonus is that they have happy hour wings. Beer selection is limited. They only had 3 on tap and one of them was Budweiser, so might as well say they only have two beers on tap.

Zane's is also the place the most locals hang, which is a nice alternative to the touristy spots.
