Owner is great, will cook the food as you ask.... Clean, friendly!

Average food, service good. Not sure why others would give this a 4 or 5 star. There are better in the area.

My wife & I visited Azul for lunch.  The place is orderly, clean and comfortable.  There is a separate lunch menu as well as lunch specials.  The regular menu has  a large selection and a special kids menu.  We found the food to be good Tex- Mex.  The meat used was shredded chicken & beef, not hamburger. The churros were homemade and quite good.  We would recommend this as a good neighborhood place with reasonable prices.  Also, our waiter was quite friendly and recently from Mexico.  Our comments are based on experience of living ini south Texas for 10 years.
