I'm a Cali Girl 100% but did go away to college in Montana for some time and although I was ridiculous home sick for Cali and couldn't wait to get back; when I got back it was only a matter of time before I missed that Big Sky state with some of the nicest hometown people and freshest air I've ever breathed (so clean & fresh I got sick when I touched down back in Cali whoooo L.A. smog)

Anyways needless to say where I went to school was very rural not like a major city like Helena. I spent a lot of time around cowboys, farmers, and real home town people. I learned how to line dance and that atmosphere grew on me. I liked that I could wear a cowboy hat and the same boots I was just using to ride my horse (yes I had a horse up there). L.a. is laid back but the hot spot to demand glamour (which I'm accustomed to) and its nice to not don't have to get so primped.

This bar reminded me of the same and only bar in the town I went to school. Most (but not all) people with a "tan" like myself are fans of country but I am and I like to dance. Yes the crowd is primarily older.
I was super shy to ask, but I went up to an older fellow & asked him if I could join him on the floor being rusty at this I was glad I picked the right guy that knew how to lead and made it easy for me to follow. I'm sure he was just as happy to have a pyt dancing with him.

My friend ordered a deer slayer? tasted like shit but its the only drink I needed for the rest of the night. Bouncer & bartenders were friendly. I had a good time. Now I know where to come when I feel like getting a little country.

From what I remember,

It was a cool little spot, older crowd, live music, the dance floor was a little small and the drinks, well, those hella strong. Security was really nice, not the typical macho man ...

I probably wouldnt be a regular here just because its not my type of crowd, but if you're into the dive bar country scene, I'm sure you'd like it . Kind of felt like I was in a different state lol
