Giamela's Submarine Sandwiches

Excellent. The Burbank location is the original and this place hits the nail on the head like The original. Peppersteak is the family favorite. They are now doing catering with 6 foot subs!  Call in your order right before your drive there.

People, there is some confusion as to which place this is.  Years ago, there used to be this amazing sub sandwich place in Chatsworth call Giamela's.  They had the HUGE pepper steak sandwiches and the peppers and tomatoes, and pickles would fall out the bun.  They were freaking awesome.  I just called the location in Chatsworth, and they said they don't serve those any longer.  Only at the Sunland and Los Feliz locations, is what the lady said.

Giamelas,well they are located at the Lamplighter on Desoto.I usually never dine in the restaurant.I usually go to the pub,bar right next door.I usually like ordering a pitcher of beer to share with friends and enjoy along side my steak sandwich.I also order a side of marinara add it to my sandwich .They have really good mozzerella sticks,onion rings,some of the best dipped in ranch.The decor has been recently remodeled ehhh its ok liked the old look of the place before.I still will go back when I am in the mood for a good sandwich, order it with grilled onions and chilis on the side
