My experiences at Cravings have been pretty average... But there are some things I like.
Although their food is only okay their desserts are REALLY good. Chocolate cake with salted caramel and buttercream frosting was delicious- moist cake, the caramel flavor wasn't overpowering, and it was sized generously for the price. The carrot cake was also super moist, filled with raisins and walnuts and carrots (oh my) and the frosting was delicious.
The service here is hit or miss. I've had really good service, but this last time the server was a little strange, but also super helpful. We were feeling champagne after seeing The Great Gatsby (if you've seen the party scenes you will feel the same) and she instantly recommended the prosecco for the cakes we had ordered. I know next to nothing about wine, but it did pair nicely.
They have a decent patio... But unfortunately it is overlooking a construction site. Beautiful and scenic Woodbury.
Skip the meal, head here later in the night for a quick dessert and glass of wine.
Stopped in for a glass of wine at 3:00 in the afternoon. We were very disappointed that the staff was so un-welcoming. We were seated at a very uncomfortable cocktail table while the rest of the restaurant was almost empty. When asked if we could be seated at a regular table, the answer was "NO, THE TABLES ARE FOR DINNER AT 6:00." We cannot recommend this place.
